The Project
Starting from a personal experience, I’ve realized that after a day walking in the woods, all one needs is to get shelter, find food (local), take a hot shower (if possible) and then finally lie down at cozy place around the fire. In our case the fire is a film, and its soundtrack...
For this project we were ready to collaborate with local film festivals, promote local food, give visibility to artists, envision world-wide venues but.., covid-19 hit.
Still, we would like to use the concept to keep creating. But for this, the format had to change.
The idea -for the time being- is that you can travel by means of images and sound: by selecting a picture from our gallery, you select the soundtrack of that picture, you can download the song and build up your own walking playlist with Original music composed by a dedicated musician.

A bit of history
Cinematic Walks is a boutique-sized project born in Italy in 2019 with the intention of joining the art of walking with the joy of film-watching/making, focusing in particular on the art of soundtracks.
The intention is to traverse nature, gather around the fire, watch films, enjoy its music but for now we have gone digital.
